To keep your Midnite account secure and compliant, we may ask for proof of address. Rejections usually happen when documents don’t meet our requirements.
Accepted Document Types
Utility bills (excl. mobile/insurance)
Bank statements
Council Tax letters
Government-issued tax documents
Requirements: Must show full name, full address, recent date, and be an original PDF or clear photo showing all corners.
Step-by-Step Submission Guide
Use the Original Source – Download your proof of address from your provider in PDF or take a high-quality photo.
Check the Document – Ensure all corners are visible and text is clear.
Match Your Account Details – Make sure your name and address match your Midnite account exactly.
Submit Correctly – Upload via the Midnite Verification Page or email support if instructed.
Common Reasons for Rejection
Wrong Format – Screenshots or scans aren’t accepted. Use original PDFs or clear photos showing all four corners.
Poor Quality – Blurry, dark, or obstructed images will be rejected. Take photos in a well-lit area on a flat surface.
Mismatched Info – Name and address must exactly match your Midnite account. Avoid nicknames, formatting differences, or outdated details.
Outdated Documents – Must be dated within the last 90 days (or as specified).
Name Mismatches
If your account name differs from your document, update your account or submit supporting documents for legal name changes (marriage certificate, deed poll).
Ensure formatting (apostrophes, hyphens, spacing) matches exactly.
