Player markets let you back individual performances during a match, from goals and assists to shots and cards. Here's what you need to know.

Do own goals count?
Scored at the wrong end? Not for your goalscorer bet.
Own goals don't count towards goalscorer markets. For Next Goalscorer, an own goal is skipped and settlement moves to the next qualifying goalscorer.
Own goals can count in some team and total-goal markets, though, so always check the market you're betting on.
What if my player doesn't start?
Starting on the bench doesn't necessarily mean your bet's done.
For player-specific markets, if your player takes no part in the match, the bet is void. If they start or come on as a substitute, the selection stands.
Some specific markets have additional rules. For example, First Goalscorer selections are void if the player comes on after the first goal has already been scored.
Extra time and penalties
The 90 minutes are what matter here.
Unless a market states otherwise, football match markets are settled on the scheduled 90 minutes plus injury or stoppage time.
Extra time and penalty shootouts don't count towards standard 90-minute markets.
