90 Minutes Play

All match markets are based on the result at the end of a scheduled 90 minutes play unless otherwise stated. This includes any added injury or stoppage time but does not include extra-time, time allocated for a penalty shootout or golden goal.

The exceptions to this rule are in relation to friendly matches, where all match markets will be settled based on the actual result when the game finishes (excluding any extra-time), irrespective of whether the full 90 minutes is played. If a friendly match ends in abandonment then the game will be settled in line with the abandonment rulings stated in 'General Sports Betting Rules'.

Postponements

If a match is postponed by more than 48 hours in the future, bets on that match will be void. However, if a match is postponed by less than 48 hours, the start time will be updated and bets will stand.

Half-time/Full-time Markets

Bets on Half-time/Full-time markets are determined based on the standings at the break or when the final whistle is blown respectively, unless stated otherwise. For any of the half-time markets, if the match is abandoned before the competition of the 1st half, any bets that cannot be resulted will have no action. Any bets that have already been determined will stand.

Total Goals - Over/Under 2.5, 3.5, 4.5 etc.

This is a bet on whether the total number of goals will be above or below the stated total. For example, if you bet ‘Under 2.5’ and there are a total of 2 goals or less, this bet wins. Conversely, if there are 3 or more goals, the bet loses.

Please note that own goals count.

Correct Score

This is a bet on what the exact score will be at half-time/full-time.

Match Result and Both Teams to Score

This is a bet on the final result and whether both teams will score. An example would be "Draw" and "No" if you believe the game will end in a scoreless draw.

Half-Time Result

The market is resulted based on the half time score. If the match is abandoned before the completion of the first half then all markets will be void.

Asian Handicap and European Handicap

The market is settled at the end of regular time. If the match is abandoned before the completion of regular time after the match has started then the market will be resulted as void

Home/Away Team to Score

This is a bet on if the Home/Away team will score in the match.

Please note that own goals count.

1st Team to Score

This is a bet on which team will be the first to score a goal in the match.

Please note that own goals count.

Last Team to Score

This is a bet on which team will be the last to score a goal in the match.
Please note that own goals count.

Home/Away Team Clean Sheet

This is a bet on if the Home/Away team will keep a clean sheet in the match.

Please note that own goals count.

Both Teams to Score

The market will be settled in real time once it has reached its natural conclusion. If the match is abandoned after the match has started, all markets that are yet to reach their natural conclusion will have no action and be void.

Please note that own goals count.

Scorecast (First goalscorer)

Any selection that does not take part in the match will be void, as will selections on first player to score where the player comes on after the first goal is scored. Please note that own goals do not count.

Double Chance

This is a market where a single selection covers 2 of the 3 possible outcomes. If you think your team will either win or draw, then you can bet on that outcome with this market.

Home/Away Team - Total Goals

This is a bet on exactly how many goals will be scored by the given team in the match.

Please note that own goals count.

Score in Both Halves

This is a bet on if a team will score a goal in both halves.

Odd or Even

This is a bet on if the total number of goals will be an Odd or Even number.

Anytime/Multi Goalscorers

If the match is abandoned before half time then all markets will be voided regardless of whether the outcome has already been determined. If the match is abandoned in the second half then only the goalscorers from the first half will be resulted.

Please note that own goals do not count.

All players who take part in a match will be considered 'runners', Any selections taken from a match that is not completed will be treated as a non-runner. Please note that own goals do not count in the settlement of bets.

Next Goalscorer

Own goals don’t count towards the next scorer.

Example – If the first goal in the match is an own goal, the selection will be settled on the scorer of the second goal. If there is no second goal the market will be resulted as loss as the winner of this market would be - No Goalscorer, If the second goal is also an own goal it will be resulted on the third scorer and so on.

If the player leaves the field without scoring then bets placed on this market will be settled as a loss.

If a winner of this selection has been settled prior to abandonment, bets placed on the player will be settled as a winner & the other players marked as a loss. If a next goalscorer selection hasn't been established in the time played before abandonment, the market will be resulted as void.

Card Markets

Bets placed on Card Markets are settled on the result of regulation time (90 minutes play) unless otherwise specified. This includes injury time but does not include extra time or penalty shootouts. Only cards shown to players currently on the pitch will count. Cards shown to managers or players not on the pitch will not count toward the total. Any cards shown after the full time whistle has been blown will be disregarded.

How many match/team cards? - You are betting on whether the total number of cards is above, below or equal to the stated total.
Yellow card = 1 & red card = 2 respectively for the purposes of this market. If a player receives 2 yellow cards and is consequently shown a red card, the player receives a total of 3 cards. No player can receive more than 3 cards for settlement purposes. A straight red on its own counts as 2 cards.

First/last cards - Which team will be awarded the last card, yellow or red, in the match. If no cards are awarded in the specified period, these markets will be resulted as losers.

if any leg is graded as void, the entire bet builder will be voided.

For any obvious pricing errors we reserve the right to cancel any bets placed at that wrong price.

For any obvious wording errors we reserve the right to cancel any bets placed on that selection.

All legs must settle as winners for the Bet Builder bet to settle as a winner. If any leg settles as a loser - the entire Bet Builder will be settled as a loser - unless a leg gets voided, in which case the entire Bet Builder bet will be voided.

Football Statistics – Definitions

All markets will be settled on the result and events of a match as per the most authoritative immediately available sources. Resettling of markets may be undertaken at the discretion of Midnite where those sources contained errors that were later amended.

Shots (Match, Team & Player) - Classified as an intentional and clear attempt at the oppositions goal. This includes all shots on target, shots off target & blocked shots.

Shots on target (Match, Team & Player) - An intentional attempt at the oppositions goal that either:
- Goes into the net and results in a goal.
- Is a clear attempt to score, that would have otherwise gone into the net, but was saved by
the goalkeeper.
- Is a clear attempt to score, that would have otherwise gone into the net, but was stopped by a defending player who is the last player.
- Is pushed onto the frame (post or bar) of the goal by the goalkeeper.

Shots off target (Match, Team & Player) - An intentional attempt at goal that either:
- Goes over or wide of the goal without making any contact with another player.
- Was heading over or wide of the goal but was stopped by the goalkeeper saving the shot.
- Was heading over or wide of the goal but was stopped by any outfield player.
- Hits the frame (post or bar) of the goal and a goal is not consequently scored.

Tackles (Match, Team & Player) - Classified as an event where a player connects with the ball in a ground challenge, where they successfully take the ball away from the player who was previously in possession of the ball. The tackled player must have clear possession of the ball before the tackle is made to constitute a tackle. It is not a tackle when a player cuts out an intended pass or loses control of the ball. A foul is not classed as a tackle.

Offsides (Match & Team) - When a player is deemed to be in an offside position and a subsequent free kick is awarded to the opposing team.

Assists (Match, Team & Player) - The final touch leading to the recipient of the ball scoring a goal. Own goals, penalties or free kick goals do not have assists awarded. If a shot at goal is either saved by a goalkeeper or stopped/blocked by a defending player and a goal is scored directly from the rebound, then an assist is awarded.

Passes (Match, Team & Player) - An intentional ball played from one player of a team to another player in that same team. These also include corners, throw ins, free kicks, kick-offs, goal kicks, goalkeeper throws. These include passes made at all heights.

Free kicks (Match & Team) - Any free kick must be taken to count, throw-ins awarded but not taken do not count.

Throw-ins (Match & Team) - Any throw-in must be successfully taken to count, throw-ins awarded but not taken do not count.

Player Specific Markets

If a player does not take any part in the match, the bet will be made void. If he is an active player by either being part of the starting eleven or by substitution the selections specific to the player will stand. This rule refers to all player specific markets involving goals, cards or any other individual statistics.

How will a player score? – You are betting on the method by which the nominated player will score (Own goals excluded):

Header - The nominated player scores a goal that is classed as coming off the player’s head or shoulder, whether it is intentional or not.

Free kick - The nominated player scores a direct free kick for their own team.

Outside of the box - The nominated player scores from outside of the 18-yard box/penalty area for their own team. A free kick scored from outside of the box counts as a winning selection.

Penalty - The nominated player scores a penalty for their own team. The goal must be scored directly from this penalty. A rebound from a penalty will not be classified as a goal scored by penalty.

Who will get carded or sent off - You are betting on whether the nominated player will receive a yellow or red card. Only cards shown to players currently on the pitch will count. Cards shown to managers or players not on the pitch will not count. Any cards shown after the full-time whistle has been blown will be disregarded. A player to be sent off is settled on any active player that receives a red card, whether that is a straight red card or two yellow cards and is therefore subsequently shown a red card. If the red card is retracted, by VAR or otherwise, then this will not count as a winning selection.
