Football Bets Explained: From Match Odds to Accas

Midnite offers a wide range of football betting markets. Here's how they work:

Common Bet Types:

  • Match Result (1X2): Home win (1), draw (X), or away win (2). Settled on 90 minutes only.

  • Over/Under Goals: Will the total goals be above or below a set amount? Own goals count.

  • Both Teams to Score (BTTS): Both sides must score for your bet to win.

  • Accumulators (Accas): Combine multiple selections into one bet. All must win (or be voided) for a payout.

  • Handicap/Asian Handicap: Adjust the score to level the field — used in unbalanced matchups.

  • Correct Score: Predict the exact score. 90-minute result only.

  • Scorecast: First goalscorer + correct score combination. Player must start and score first.

Understanding Odds & Potential Winnings

Decimal Odds (default on Midnite):

  • Example: 2.50 odds = £10 bet x 2.50 = £25 return

Fractional Odds:

  • Example: 3/1 = £10 bet returns £40 (£30 winnings + £10 stake)

Switch odds format in Account Settings > Preferences.
