I have been asked to provide proof of income. Is this a genuine request?

Yes, this would be a genuine request that you will receive from our support team.

Why am I being asked to provide proof of income?

We understand that this is a sensitive request. As required by the Gambling Commission, and as part of our licensing conditions, we are required to ask for such information when you reach certain levels of deposit/withdrawals. Please be assured that we are not alone in asking for this type of information from customers.

What information do I need to provide?

We will require evidence to understand and identify the source and value of the funds used to bet with.

Documents may include:

  • Recent bank statement/savings account that clearly shows consistent incoming values from an identifiable source.

  • Dated proof of an award/payment made to you.

  • Proof of earnings: Payslips/Director remuneration/Dividends/Pension.

  • Any document showing you are employed, with details of your employment.

I have been betting with you for some time now, why am I being asked for this now?

The regulations set by the Gambling Commission are constantly evolving to better protect customers. This requirement is now enforced across all licensed, legal operators licensed by the Gambling Commission. Operators are obligated to request for this information once a player reaches a certain threshold of deposits and/or withdrawals - in many cases, it may take years to reach this amount.

We appreciate that such requests can seem quite intrusive, and we will always endeavour to deal with this issue sensitively and confidentially.

How will this information be used?

Please be assured that any information and documentation provided will be treated in the strictest confidence in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We have a small, dedicated team who assess the information in a controlled process.

The information you provide will not be used for any other purpose than to establish the money you use to bet comes fro legitimate sources, for us to comply with regulatory obligations.

We recognise you may find this process intrusive, however, we are required to adhere to the rules and regulations set forth by the Gambling Commission as part of holding a licence with them.

What will happen if I don’t provide proof of my source of funds?

Unfortunately, if you cannot provide us with the sufficient information, we will need to limit your account with us, and may be suspended.
