🏅 General Sports Betting Rules

All Bets on Sports on Midnite's Platform are subject to these General Betting Rules

Sport Specific Rules

Please be aware that any bets on our platform are subject to the applicable Sport Specific Rules, if any. If there is any conflict between the Sport Specific Rules and these General Betting Rules, the Sport Specific Rules shall prevail.

  • Start dates and times are an indication only and are not guaranteed to be correct. Wagers will stand if a match is offered with an incorrect date and/or time. If a match is suspended or postponed, and is not resumed within 48 hours from the scheduled start time, wagers on that match will have no action and will be refunded. However, if the match is played within 48 hours from the scheduled start time, bets will be settled as usual.

  • If a match is abandoned, any bets where the outcome has already been decided e.g. half-time result or first team to score will stand. All other bets will be made void regardless of the score-line at the time of abandonment. Abandoned games will be deemed to be games which do not reach their natural conclusion on the calendar date.

  • Dead Heat Reduction will be applied to markets when more than one participant can finish with the same results. A 'Dead Heat Reduction' is calculated by dividing the wager amount by the number of winners. That means in a two-way tie, your winnings would be half of what was shown as the return in the Bet Slip when you placed your bet.

  • Games where a referee removes the players from the field of play for a temporary period, but resumes the remaining minutes of play on the same calendar date will not be deemed as abandoned.

  • Games or markets where a result cannot be found will result in bets being made void 12 hours after the game has started.

  • When a venue for a match is changed after the publication of odds, we reserve the right to void all bets.

Timing and match statistics markets will be taken from the information published by the official competition website.

Match Fixing / Spot Fixing Policy

Match fixing / spot fixing creates an unfair betting environment as the results are coordinated and possibly already known. It is against the spirit of competition, and hurts the sports community as a whole. In the rare circumstance that we suspect that a team is engaged in match fixing or spot fixing, Midnite reserves the right to cancel and refund all wagers on the suspected match and / or affected markets. By voiding bets in the rare cases where match fixing or spot fixing is highly suspected, we make it difficult for anyone involved in this activity to take advantage of our platform, and we protect users who were unintentionally betting on fixed outcomes.

In-Play Betting Terms

Although every effort is made to ensure all In-Play event information is correct, this information should be used as a guide only. In the event of any In-Play event information being incorrect, we assume no liability for this. All Midnite Terms and Conditions apply. For the purpose of In-Play event betting, please be aware that the data supplied is subject to a delay. This includes video feeds broadcast by Midnite for In-Play events. The extent of the delay may vary, depending on device and connection performance.

Cashout

Users are not entitled to the Cashout feature and Midnite is free to turn off Cashout on any account at anytime. Whether the Cashout feature not being available is intentional or not (eg. site maintenance, bet grading errors). In any case, users will not be able to claim any compensation from not being able to Cashout their bet.

Time of Acceptance

At Midnite, bets need to be placed before the official start time of an event. In some cases: like early horse racing prices, we may allow bets to be placed earlier, at our discretion.

  • If a bet is placed after an event has already started and it isn’t part of our Live Betting markets, that bet will be voided if the race or match has already been decided, or if the stage of play clearly indicated the outcome.

  • Any bet placed after the result of an event (or market) is already known—whether it’s pre-match or Live Betting—will be voided, win or lose.

  • We also reserve the right to void any bet if the outcome becomes public knowledge before betting closes.

  • If the official start time isn’t announced, bets will be accepted up to the advertised start time. Bets placed after this time will be void unless we can confirm they were placed before the event began.

  • In the event of a dispute, the time logged in our bet capture system will be the one that counts.

  • Keep in mind: TV, radio, and live streams (including Midnite streams) may run on a delay. That delay varies by platform or device, so what you see might not be truly live.

  • Lastly, if a bet is accepted in error after an event has finished or when betting has been suspended, that bet will be void, win or lose.
