Use this article to understand what a card confirmation letter is, when Midnite may request one, and how to obtain one from your bank or Revolut. A card confirmation letter is a document issued by your bank confirming a payment card belongs to you.
What must the letter include?
To be accepted, your card confirmation letter must clearly show:
Your full name
Your date of birth
Your home address
The last 4 digits of the card
The letter should be provided as a PDF where possible. Screenshots of in-app screens are not accepted.
Documents in a language other than English are not accepted. If your bank only issues the letter in another language, contact them to request an English version.
How do I obtain a card confirmation letter?
Contact your bank or card provider directly and ask for a card confirmation letter or cardholder certificate. Most major UK banks can provide this via their app, online banking, or by post.
How do I request one from Revolut?
Open the Revolut app
Tap on your card
Go to Card Settings
Select 'Request card details letter'
Download the letter as a PDF
If you have any difficulty obtaining your letter, contact your card provider directly. Once you have it, you can upload it via your Midnite verification page at midnite.com/account/verification or send it to support@midnite.com.
