๐Ÿ‡ Horse Racing & Greyhound Betting Rules โ€“ FAQs

Updated this week

Hereโ€™s how betting works for horse racing and greyhound events on Midnite.

๐ŸŽฏ General Rules

What events are available?
Races from the UK & Ireland, plus selected international tracks.

How are bets settled?

  • Settled on the official result (weigh-in)

  • UK & Ireland โ†’ first past the post applies

  • International races โ†’ settled on the official result only

Can I cancel a bet?
No โ€” once placed, bets canโ€™t be cancelled.

โš ๏ธ Pricing Errors

If an obvious error occurs (human or technical):

  • Bets may be voided, or

  • Settled at the correct industry price

If a market remains open after the result is known, all bets will be voided.

๐Ÿšซ Non-Runners & Withdrawals

A non-runner is a horse that doesnโ€™t start the race.

  • Singles โ†’ stake returned

  • Multiples โ†’ selection void (odds recalculated)

  • System bets โ†’ treated the same way

๐Ÿ“… Abandoned or Postponed Races

Bets are void if:

  • The race is abandoned

  • Entries change

  • Race conditions change (e.g. surface or venue)

  • 48-hour declarations donโ€™t stand

If a race is rescheduled without changes, bets will stand.

๐Ÿ† Bet Types

Your selection must win.

Two bets: win + place

  • Example: ยฃ5 each-way = ยฃ10 total
