General Rules
A player is deemed to have started once they have teed off. If the player withdraws or is disqualified after teeing off, the selection will be settled as a loser. If a player does not start, all bets on that selection will be void.
Unless otherwise stated, all bets are settled according to the official result as declared by the tournament’s governing body at the conclusion of the final round (e.g., PGA Tour, DP World Tour). Any subsequent amendments, disqualifications, or corrections to the result after the official declaration will not affect settlement.
If any player withdraws before the tournament begins, Rule 4 deductions may apply to adjust odds or settlements.
If the tournament is shortened but an official result is declared by the governing body, bets will stand. If no official result is declared, all bets will be void.
Midnite reserves the right to void or amend any bet in the event of obvious error, technical fault, or incorrect settlement.
Outright Winner
The winner is determined by an official result being declared by the governing body.
If a Playoff occurs, the Playoff result determines the winner.
If all scores for the tournament are abandoned and cancelled, all bets will be void.
If there is no solo winner, Dead Heat rules will apply.
Dead Heat Rules
If two or more selections finish tied for the same position, Dead Heat rules apply:
The stake is divided by the number of players that are tied for that position.
The full odds apply to the reduced stake. The remaining portion of the stake is lost.
Dead Heat Example
Position | Selection | Price |
1 | J. Rahm | 10/1 |
T2 | R. McIlroy | 12/1 |
T2 | S. Scheffler | 14/1 |
T2 | T. Fleetwood | 28/1 |
5 | T. Woods | 33/1 |
6 | B. DeChambeau | 40/1 |
If you placed a £10 Each Way bet on Fleetwood at 28/1 (¼ odds, 3 places):
Rahm wins outright.
Three players (McIlroy, Scheffler, Fleetwood) tie for 2nd, filling the final two place positions (2nd & 3rd).
The stake is reduced proportionally:
⅔ of the Each Way stake counts as a winner (2 ÷ 3 = ⅔).
⅓ of the stake is lost.
Calculation:
£10 Each Way = £5 win + £5 place.
£5 × ⅔ = £3.33 settled as winner at 7/1 (¼ of 28/1).
Return = (£3.33 × 7) + £3.33 = £26.64 total return.
2 Ball / 3 Ball / 4 Ball Markets
These markets refer to groups of players paired together for a specific round, as determined by official tournament tee times.
